The Hippodrome Casino is the UK’s largest international-style casino, and its busiest.

With four floors of gaming including the PokerStars LIVE deck, an award winning restaurant, 325-seat cabaret and music room, six bars and an indoor smoking terrace, we are the West End’s largest and most successful entertainment venue.

Housed within the former Hippodrome Theatre, our main door opens onto one of the busiest streets in Europe, with a secondary entrance leading to the world’s largest ‘Chinatown’ community.

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO VISIT THE HIPPODROME?

The Hippodrome Casino has an open door policy, which means you can walk right in.

DO I NEED ID?

If you’re lucky enough to look 21 or under, or if you gamble more than £1500, we will ask you to show us your photographic ID. If you would like to become a member of The Hippodrome you can join our loyalty scheme Hippodrome Rewards, you will also need to bring your ID with you.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO ENTER THE CASINO?

You must be at least 18 years of age to visit The Hippodrome Casino and this includes Heliot Steakhouse and our cabaret theatre too. For anyone under 18, we’re worth waiting for! In the meantime, we recommend a visit to M&M’s World on Leicester Square.

DO YOU HAVE A LOYALTY PROGRAMME?

Yes, our loyalty programme is called Hippodrome Rewards. Simply bring your photo ID (Passport, driving licence, PASS verification card or military card) at our welcome desk or ask one of our hosts who will be happy to assist you.

IS THERE A COST ASSOCIATED WITH JOINING HIPPODROME REWARDS?

DO YOU HAVE WI-FI?

Yes, there is free wi-fi throughout the casino which allows you to access all websites (except the naughty ones) Our wi-fi name is HIPPODROMECASINO.

HOW DO I GET GAMING CHIPS SO I CAN PLAY ROULETTE?

Put your money on the roulette table in front of the dealer. The dealer will exchange it for Gaming Chips at that table – you will be given your own colour to avoid mix-ups with other players. When you want to cash out, tell the dealer who will change your colour chips for Cash Chips.

HOW DO I GET GAMING CHIPS TO PLAY AT CARD TABLES?

Sit at any free seat at any time, put your cash on the table and the dealer will exchange it for Cash Chips.

HOW DO I ‘CASH OUT’ (EXCHANGE MY CHIPS FOR CASH)?

Take your Cash Chips to the cash desk – there is one on each floor. The ground floor cash desk is behind the bar.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM BET?

Every table has a screen saying what the minimum bet is at that table. Here are lower minimum bet tables in the Gold Room on the lower ground floor.

HOW DO I LEARN TO PLAY?

Ask the dealer at any free table to show you. They would be delighted to explain.

WHERE CAN I SMOKE?

We have a smoking deck on the THIRD FLOOR with a bar, and outside gaming.

CAN I HAVE A PRIVATE TABLE?

Private Gaming and Poker tables can be made available. Ask to speak to the Floor Manager.

DO YOU HAVE PRIVATE ROOMS FOR HIRE?

Yes, we’re one of the West End’s largest entertainment venues and can host private parties from 4 to 600 people throughout, in the bar areas, private dining rooms, restaurant which is also a fully equipped events and presentation facility.
